For 1 / 4 century, American training researchers have tended to favour qualitative and descriptive analyses over quantitative studies using random project or featuring credible quasi-experimental analysis designs. This has now modified. In 2002 and 2003, the US Department of Education funded a dozen randomized trials to guage the efficacy of pre-faculty programmes, up from one in 2000.
